Funding-Sources

Funding is available to assist you with your purchases. You just have to know where to
go and what to ask for. Below are some examples of groups or organizations that are
here to help you. Any questions or concerns please contact one of our professional
sales consultants.

MANUFACTURERS REBATES - All primary companies have a rebate program for new
van purchases. Auto Mobility Sales can help you to qualify.

VETERANS ADMINISTRATION - If you are a disabled veteran, there may be benefits for
you concerning vehicle modifications.

For example are you aware that you may be eligible for the following services:

A one-time automobile grant of $11,000 through the VA Office
(this grant may be applied towards a modified vehicle.

All 100% service connected veterans are eligible for two vehicle conversions every four
years or one vehicle conversion every two years.
(veterans that trade-in their vehicles every two years usually have less out-of-pocket
expenses obtaining a new van than a veteran who decides to trade at a later date)

A veteran purchasing a pre-owned vehicle will be subject to the VA's depreciation
schedule for reimbursement.

VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION - Each state has different requirements and different
divisions with the same goal, to get you back to work or school quickly and safely.
Funding transportation plays a major role with the vocational rehabilitation
department.

INDEPENDENT LIVING CENTERS - Often times they administer grant money that can be
used for adaptive equipment.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS - Some branches of these organizations provide funding for
families in need.

INSURANCE COMPANIES - We work with all insurance companies where they will
extend benefits to vehicle adaptive equipment. In most instances, standard health
insurance policies will not cover this type of equipment; except in the case of a
worker's compensation claim.

MEDICAID - In certain instances, Medicaid will pay for vehicle adaptive equipment. This
falls under the "Medicaid waiver" and each state administers this program differently.
